Welcome to the Dominican University Transfer Guide

We welcome students at all stages of their educational experience at Dominican University. We focus on making your transfer to Dominican an uncomplicated process. That's the Dominican University difference!

 

Please note the following directions:

  1. Choose your community college from the list below.
  2. Codes for Dominican University general education requirements are at the top of each school's index page. Terms and conditions are listed below.
  3. Below the codes are links to department lists of transferable courses where you will find the equivalent Dominican course department and number.
  4. Courses from departments that are not listed in the guides are not generally accepted in transfer. Therefore, if a course is listed in the guide, it will transfer in some capacity.

If you are an applicant to Dominican University, please forward official transcripts electronically to domadmis@dom.edu.

Students interested in transferring to Dominican University may contact the Office of Admission at (708) 524-6793 or domadmis@dom.edu. Virtual or in-person campus visits and one-on-one appointments can be made online at www.dom.edu/visit.

Current Dominican University students looking to take courses at another institution, should contact the Office of the Registrar at (708) 524-6774 or registrar@dom.edu. Please use the downloadable Transfer Credit Evaluation approval form found at the top of this page.
