Dominican University works with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide timely, readily-accessible enrollment verifications. 
 

 
Important Note
 
Enrollment CANNOT be officially verified until after the last day to drop courses for the semester. 
Please refer to the Academic Calendar for the current semester's drop date.
 
 
Dominican students can now access enrollment information from the National Student Clearinghouse's Student Self-Service!
 
Student Self-Service allows you to: 
 
  • View your enrollment history
  • View proofs of enrollment sent on your behalf to student service providers 
  • Get a list of your student loan holders
  • Find our when deferment notices were sent to your student lenders
  • Print or email enrollment certificates for health insurers and other organizations (enrollment certificates are only available for a term if the last day to drop for that term has passed)
 
 
N.B. This service is only available to students who have a valid SSN on file with Dominican University. International students and other students who opted not to disclose their SSN should submit a Request for Information form to the Stars Connect Office in room 115, Lewis Hall.
 

Deferment

Common requests for deferment include:
  • Information requested by your loan company
  • Half-time status
  • Anticipated graduation date
  • Deferment forms

Please note: In order to be eligible for deferment, you must be enrolled at least half-time - 4.5 semester hours for graduate students and 6.0 semester hours for undergraduate students.

Insurance & Certification Forms

Common requests for forms to be filled out include:
  • Insurance forms
  • Certification of Education forms
  • Good standing forms
Direct your insurance company to www.enrollmentverify.org for immediate confirmation of your enrollment status.
 
If your insurance company requires that a particular form be completed, please include the completed Information Request form with your request and check the box completion of attached form.

Certification Letters

Common requests for certification letters include:
  • Letter of part-time or full-time status
  • Letter of good standing
  • Number of semester hours currently enrolled
  • Any combination of the above 

 
To request a certification letter, please fill out an Information Request form.  Include the following information:
  • Name
  • ID Number
  • Address or Fax Number where the information should be sent
  • Signature
  • Semester(s) that need to be verified
