Common Ground is Dominican University's Gay/Straight Alliance. Our mission is to educate the Dominican Community on the history of the gay and lesbian community, and educate the campus on social and ethical issues that affect gay and lesbian students, faculty or staff and the LGBT community as a whole. You may be asking, How do you do that? Well CG does this by brining speakers to campus to discuss various social and civil issues, sponsoring Safe Zone Training once a semester as well as having fun and funny events such as a LGBT improvisation group.
